Other Works
-
A short play collection that you should read if you like worms, folklore, mommy issues, changing the batteries in the smoke detector, arson, rapid decline into insanity, grocery shopping, and/or high school wrestling.
-
A theatre cycle that reimagines the literary canon if it had always centered more diverse voices.
-
A devised adaptation of a literary classic. This production preserves the intricate horror of the original novella and extrapolates the dichotomous struggle between good and evil in the confines of the body. Created using moment work in a collaborative theatre ensemble.

Overnight Theatre
In 2020, Lana Scott Stringer and Jake Lane cofounded Overnight Theatre as an independent theatre company that produced almost 150 short plays that were written, performed, produced, edited, and presented in under 24 hours. Lana herself wrote, performed, and/or directed over 25 of these plays. A collection of her written works from this experience is coming soon, but for now, feel free to check out Overnight Theatre at large on the archived website or the project’s Youtube channel.
