
MEET THE ARTIST
Lana Scott Stringer is a playwright, dramaturg, script copyeditor, stage manager, director, and actor.
Lana Scott Stringer is a Brooklyn-based graduate of Samford University's theater and film programs. She has written and cowritten multiple commissioned and original works for production, including a one-act play for the New York Theater Festival,a full-length devised collaborative theater adaptation of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, short plays for Overnight Theatre, a theater company of which she is the cofounder, and a full-length play for Samford's student-run Underground Theater. She was the recipient of the university's Best Playwright award, Trailblazer award, and Outstanding Theater Student award. She was also the dramaturg and associate producer for Harrison Theater's production of The Laramie Project.
